The New Lifestyle
The New Lifestyle is an attainable approach to fitness (which is simply defined as “health”). It encompasses your whole self – body, mind, and soul. We meet at the church in the Ministry Center each Tuesday evening at 5:30, Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 and Thursday at 9:00am & 5:30pm for 45 minutes.
While we are firming and toning (with an occasional cardio exercise), we are building relationships with others and confidence in ourselves. My style is based on 1 Thessalonians 5:11 – “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”
Each class is designed based on the participants, so you may participate at no matter what level you are. Just make sure your doctor has authorized the activity. Our classes include any age, shape, or size. Any exercise can be modified so you can achieve success.
During each class, you will gain an understanding of your muscles and you will have a renewed awareness of your body. As we age, we need to take our body with us, so we might as well have it work to our benefit.
The classes are intended to be fun and inspirational. (We do laugh a lot when we are together.) We focus these 45 minutes on our own body and our self-development. This is an investment in health and wellness that we choose to receive. It is a gift – to ourselves!
