Sunday evening’s at NWUMC rock. That because it’s a time for the youth to gather at church and let loose with their friends. The Haven is safe zone for our youth. We have fun on Sunday while learning about God’s love for us and His plans for us. Who knew that Nerf gun wars had biblical significance? Don’t believe it? Join us at the haven and learn about it.
Middle School/ High School Youth @ 6-8 PM.
Join us as we learn to have the Heart of a Champion and learn that Missions Matter Most. Arriving at the haven September 12, 2010.

September 12
Kick Off Sunday: 9:30-10:30 AM - Sunday School for Grades 7-12
12-3 PM - the haven - Lunch at Noon, followed by crazy outdoor games. You may get messy, you may be wild, you may even get wet. Get ready for this fun-filled day of games meeting the new Youth and getting to see some of your old friends. Does a giant slip n slide sound fun? Does Jell-O wrestling sound fun? Well those are just two things that may (wink wink) happen, so invite some friends, and bring some clothes to get messy in and be ready to have some FUN!!!!
September 16
Mini-Mission - Project Renovate - This Month our Mini-Mission will take place in our room. We need to do some major painting, so come from 5:30-9 PM with some painting clothes.We will be painting the ceiling tiles. Don’t worry we will be taking them down first.
September 18
From 6-10 PM we will joining Lewis Center Youth Group, and All Shepherd’s Youth Group for a Barn Party. We will be going to All Shepherd’s Lutheran Church in Delaware for a fun night. Loud Music, Fun Games, and New Friends. Meet at the church no later than 6 PM if you want to go and we will be home at 10 PM. All friends are welcome.
September 19
9:30-10:30 AM: Sunday School for Grades 7-12
From 4:30-6:30 PM we will be having a Game Night for the Youth and a Parent’s Meeting for all the Parent’s/Guardians of the Youth. The meeting will last from 4:30-6 PM with dinner to follow for all. Please be at this meeting for we will be going over important information, and you can meet the Youth Minister as well as see what this School Year holds for the Youth!!!
September 26
9:30-10:30 AM: Sunday School for Grades 7-12
From 5:30-8:30 PM we will have our Fall Picnic. This is a great night for the whole Family. All Youth are invited and so are all their family members. We will have a Cookout and play some Football, Volleyball, Frisbee, Hayride, among much much more. Location and Directions are coming soon. Hope to see you there!
