Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Worship Service

January 20 7:00 pm  |  Woodland Christian Church

143 Woodland Avenue, Columbus, OH, USA

Again this year the Coalition for Racial Reconciliation invites you to the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day worship service at Woodland Christian Church, located at 143 Woodland Ave. in Columbus. This service will be Monday, January 20 at 7 p.m. and will include a message from  The Rev. Allen Harris, Ohio Regional Ministry for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

About the Coalition for Racial Reconciliation: This group began as a partnership between the men’s group at Northwest and the men’s group at Woodland Christian Church. It later expanded to the whole community at both churches, and then a number of other local churches joined. The group meets monthly to discuss issues related to racial reconciliation. In addition to conversation, they have had conversations with legislators, put together a health fair, held annual anti-racism trainings, and created joint worship services for Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Juneteenth. If you would like to get involved in this ministry, contact Pastor Chris at the church office to be added to the email list.
